a brief note to the person:
The post "go on then, leave" was not about you. If you did sit next to me and do all of the things that I talked about in the blog post, then of course I will apologise. I don't actually know you who are, so at the moment - this is a little bit difficult to achieve. If you're interested in some cold, hard facts: the post was based on several stories, including one of my own and two from other people, at other universities, and was heavily exagerated. If I genuinely had had a problem that great with anyone in an actual lecture or situation like that, I wouldn't have sat around quitely before running off to the Internet to vent my anger. I'd have dealt with it at the time, like any sensible rational human being would have. Don't you think if all of the things I talked about happened, someone else might have noticed?
