I've got an idea that Wendy Bristow, who writes the MetroScopes, in the - you guessed it - Metro newspaper, wants a day in bed.
Today, I got particulally bored and ended up reading more than one of the signs....
... I was advised to not start any new projects, and to tie up old ends, Arians should try and stay in bed all day and eat biscuits if possible - other signs were advised to do things like "just do what's already in the in tray," or to "try and stay in bed eating biscuits."
As if, on a Tuesday, I need encouragement to try and stay in bed?! I mean, Tuesdays are the days that are worst of all. However...I thought I'd check the Metro website to get the signs for all of you lovely readers. Perhaps Wendy found the Rich Tea?
Hmpphh....Oh well, onto Wednesday please!!

What a long title? Are you ready - I've got a feeling this is going to be a long one. You might want a coffee or something....
In the past seven days, I've been at work for six - that's 45 hours in total, doing 7.5hrs a day [infact, it's more - because sometimes we've finished late!]. It means I've got a little attached to the music that we play - and what it is. One of the songs on the CD is Adia, by Sara McLachlan. I rather like that song and it is the reason that I have been randomly walking around Costa singing. Mmm...Perhaps not so good for custom?
Anyhow - a lot of people have spent the week asking me: "how was work?" - let me tell you: it was good. I love my job, and I love the people I work with. Even Elaine, who gets on ya nerves because she's been on her bloody course and knows how to make a perfect cappucino.
It's perfect - look at the coffee rim around the edge.
Still with work - Saturday, like all of this week, really, has been a slow slow week. It's been quite leisurely until it was decided that at about 3.30pm, or 4pm, I'm not totally sure, there'd be a sudden rush of kids. They all wanted hot chocolate. And there wasn't enough room for them to sit down - because at 4pm, we've already shut off two sections and cleaned them. But I had to re-open them. And they got dirty again - how crap.
Aselya, though, told me later that she thought we didn't work as hard when it was just her there, because things were more relaxed. I, of course, argued. I'm more likely to work for someone who doesn't *tell* me to. And as if to prove her wrong, we finished at 6.45 - admittedly, 15 minutes late, but we still had customers inside at 6.05!
Enough of work though - do you think I'll ever get bored with coffee?
I'm interested in what you do: when you drive, and stop - do you put the clutch down, coast until you need to break and then bring the car to a complete stop, before handbreak, and then into nuteral [i can't spell :p it's all good]. Or do you do something else? And which pocket do you keep your wallet in? Rear or side? I'm interested in your comments on BOTH of those issues ;)
And it'd seem I do take my own advice: "love like you've never been hurt." We'll see shall we? I think I found a key.
Have fun ;)
